Welcome to Kido Psychological Services, a psychological testing clinic specializing in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our mission is to provide accurate and comprehensive psychological evaluations to individuals ages 13 years and older in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We believe that every individual deserves the highest quality of care, and we strive to make the evaluation process as stress-free as possible.

Dr. Donna Johns
Psy.D., Psychologist
Dr. Donna Johns is a seasoned psychologist and the founder of KIDO Psychological Services. With years of experience in the field, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves through thorough, compassionate, and accurate evaluations for ADHD and Autism.
Dr. Johns founded KIDO with the vision of creating a specialized practice focused on high-quality diagnostic assessments in a supportive and welcoming environment. Her passion for helping others, combined with her attention to detail and clinical expertise, has been the driving force behind the clinic’s growth and success over the years.
She is deeply committed to ensuring that each client feels heard, understood, and supported throughout the evaluation process. Through her leadership, KIDO has grown into a dedicated team focused on providing clarity, answers, and meaningful support to the community.
Tayci Demsky
Business Manager & Billing Manager
With a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Management and a minor in Psychology, Tayci brings over eight years of experience in the medical field to KIDO Psychological Services. She is passionate about helping create a supportive and organized experience for both clients and staff, and enjoys being part of a team that helps individuals better understand themselves through the evaluation process.
Based in Vancouver, Tayci lives with her husband and loves spending time with family and friends whenever she can. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and outdoors, whether that’s hiking local trails, relaxing by the pool, or exploring new places. She values balance, connection, and creating a welcoming environment both in and outside of the office.
Karey Amies
Office Manager & Senior Trainer
Karey has been working in the field of psychometry since 2022 and is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. She believes that differences aren’t flaws, they’re what make people unique and life more interesting. Karey’s goal is for every client to leave KIDO feeling understood and having had a positive experience.
Her dedication and leadership led her to become a Lead Trainer in 2023, and in 2024, she stepped into the role of Office Manager at KIDO Psychological Services.
Karey lives in Vancouver with her husband, three children, two dogs, three cats, and a beautiful betta fish who keeps her company at the office. She’s known for giving her pets wonderfully creative names like Bandito Jesus Martes and Halcyon Calliope! In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing MOBA games, and spending quality time with the people (and animals!) she loves most.
Christina Carpio
Receptionist
Christina is our friendly receptionist and one of the first smiling faces you’ll see when you walk through our doors! She helps keep things running smoothly and makes sure everyone feels welcomed and checked in with ease.
A lifelong Washington resident, Christina has spent most of her life right here in Vancouver. When she’s not at the office, she loves spending quality time with her family. She and her husband enjoy camping adventures, kayaking on the water, and traveling whenever they get the chance, whether it’s visiting loved ones or exploring faraway places together!
Alannah Mattal
Psychometrist I
Alannah combines her passion for psychology with a genuine commitment to helping others. With a background in Applied Behavior Analysis, she has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and ADHD. She strives to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel valued, understood, and supported.
In her free time, Alannah enjoys hiking, exploring Washington after recently moving from Arizona, and spending time with her boyfriend and their dog.
Jeanette Costello
Psychometrist I
Jeanette joined KIDO Psychological Services with a passion for helping people feel seen, understood, and comfortable throughout the evaluation process. She enjoys building genuine connections with clients and believes that creating a calm, welcoming environment allows individuals to share their experiences more openly. She finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of a team that helps people better understand themselves and their unique strengths.
When she's away from the office, Jeanette channels her creativity into designing intricate paper art and handcrafted keepsakes. She also treasures time with her husband, their large family, and growing group of grandchildren, believing that some of life's best moments are found in creativity, family, and a little bit of sparkle.
Skylar Perez
Psychometrist I
Skylar is passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves and get the support they need. As a graduate of the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in psychology, she is dedicated to creating a positive experience where each person can feel safe, welcomed, and respected.
In her free time, Skylar loves running, yoga, and spending time with friends and her two dogs! She also enjoys working on scrapbooking and other crafts. She loves being outdoors since moving back to Portland and enjoys having an active lifestyle.
