Evaluation Process
Our testing procedure consists of two distinct appointments. During the initial consultation, we gather information about the reasons for your visit and delve into some aspects of your life history. The subsequent evaluation appointment involves the administration of tests and the collection of relevant data. For further insights into the process, please refer to the details below.
Consultation
The initial appointment, lasting one hour, involves a consultation with one of our Psychometrists I. They will gather a brief history of your life and seek a better understanding of the reasons for your visit.
Additionally, during this session, you will schedule your evaluation appointment and receive assigned tests to be completed at home. The timely completion of these tests is crucial for the evaluation appointment, and we kindly request that they be finished before the subsequent session. Further details regarding the at-home assessments will be provided during the first appointment.
Evaluation
The second session is the evaluation, which may last between 2-4 hours, depending on the nature of the tests. During this appointment, our Psychometrist I will conduct assessments to gather additional data.
Upon completion of this session, our Psychometrist I, in collaboration with the rendering provider, Dr. Donna Johns, will compile and summarize all the gathered data into a comprehensive report.
This report, encompassing details from each assessment and a potential diagnosis, will be sent to you by Dr. Donna Johns.
Reports are sent electronically and can take anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks to be completed after all online and in-person assessments have been finalized. Please be patient with us during this process as we want to ensure that Dr. Johns has the time and data to arrive at the most accurate diagnosis possible. We understand that these results are important to you and strive to complete the process in a timely manner.
